| An outline of what ISSO Seva’s Humanitarian Foundation has achieved with respect to setting up health services and aiding natural disaster relief: |
| Health Services |
| Despite today’s well-developed technologically advanced society, many people are left without health insurance or adequate healthcare services. For the past five years, ISSO Seva, in conjunction with local medical organizations, has been holding health fairs and clinics throughout the world. |
- ISSO SEVA has conducted over 40 Health Fairs and provided service to over 14,000 patients with absolutely free health care and education.
- ISSO Seva provides regular Health Clinics to promote health and wellness by providing quality services, at no charge, to people without access to basic care. The Clinics provide basic health care to people who otherwise would not have access to adequate, professional healthcare.

| Cancer Awareness Seminars |
| ISSO Seva’s Foundation focuses its energies and resources on those cancers—including lung, breast, prostate, colorectal, cervical, skin, oral and testicular—that can be prevented through lifestyle changes or detection and treatment in their early stages. |
- ISSO Seva’s goal is to reduce escalating cancer rates through a comprehensive strategy of outreach, public education, advocacy, and public policy initiatives to establish prevention as the nation's foremost cancer program.
- ISSO Seva’s coalitions of leading experts in cancer prevention and public health have come together at more then 24 community discussions.

- ISSO Seva’s consultants and educators offer many community seminars and lectures throughout the year.
- The classes are interesting and informative and cover a wide range of topics, including exercise, health, eating habits, weight loss, and much more.
- These informative sessions provide consultation, education and training that is timely and cost-effective for the community.

| Bone Marrow Drives |
- The purpose of establishment of ISSO Seva was to help those in need during time of crisis & misfortune. ISSO Seva serves patients diagnosed with Leukemia and other fatal blood disorders who are in search of stem cell. Donors are urgently needed to help individuals who are looking for a Donor Match. Many Individuals have been diagnosed with a form of Leukemia, and are in immediate need of a stem cell blood, or bone marrow transplant.
- ISSO Seva partners with the National Bone Marrow Association, South Asian Marrow Association of Recruiters, & Asians For Miracle Marrow Matches.
- ISSO Seva has helped patients find a match by organizing and hosting Bone Marrow Drives throughout the world. We have added over four hundred and sixty new donors to the Registry from our international drives.

| Blood Drives |
- ISSO Seva has ensured that hospitals have the blood supply that they need to treat all of there patients.
- ISSO-Seva has united with the American Red Cross, New Jersey Blood Donation Services, New York Blood Donation Services, Regional Gulf Coast, and Childrens Hospital of Harvard to heighten the blood supply in the local areas.
- ISSO Seva has boosted the blood supply by more then three hundred eighty units of blood. Helping individuals who are unfortunate to this situation, is a very noble and heart warming act of kindness and an example ISSO Seva’s ultimate humanity.

| Disaster Aid Events |
Katrina Relief - 2005- As the people of New Orleans begin to rebuild their lives, ISSO Seva has moved into a longer-term community recovery effort to assist survivors, aid families in finding the community resources, and to help communities meet the ongoing needs of those affected by Katrina.
ISSO Seva worked hard to ensure effective relief aid for Katrina victims was attained. Volunteers from the Seva Organization worked together with local organizations to gather the appropriate supplies in need for the devastated areas of New Orleans.
- Boxes of canned foods, water bottles, clothing, and toys for children were gathered in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Tsunamis Relief - 2004- The earthquakes that triggered Tsunamis in South East Asia caused devastation with approximately 160,000 lives taken. Victims were left homeless, without proper medical attention, food, and water.
- ISSO Seva conducted a relief fund, collecting donations to alleviate the effect of this disaster. Furthermore, in conjunction with the local organizations, ISSO Seva worked to gather supplies, clothing, and blankets.
Gujarat Earthquake Relief - 2001
In January 2001, India suffered a catastrophic earthquake that measured 7.9 on the Rickter Scale and took the lives of over 50,000 people. Many people in the state of Gujarat were left homeless, without food or any resources.
- ISSO-Seva launched a global effort to provide immediate assistance to the area.
Youth members worked with various local businesses and school to raise money, setting up relief booths in shopping centers and malls, collected donations from sponsors, and coordinated food and clothing drives.
- The youth members worked day and night, raising over $150,000.
- ISSO Seva pulled together 300 boxes filled with clothing and supplies.

| Helping the Homeless One Person at a Time |
- The Lowell Transitional Living Center, a community supported by non-profit organizations, provides a safe, temporary shelter and multiple services for homeless men and women of the greater Lowell area of Masschusetts in hope of putting an end to homelessness.
- Members of ISSO-Seva Boston have sponsored and organized a full vegetarian lunches and dinners for over 160 homeless men and women at the Lowell Transitional Living Center.
- ISSO-Seva has made arrangements to sponsor scheduled lunches and dinners every month at the shelter. In addition to the scheduled lunches and dinners every month, ISSO-Seva members transport to the shelter any extra cooked meals from surrounding local churches & businesses.

| Fostering Leadership, Civil Action, and Community Engagement |
- Gandhi Day - National day of Service – 2006 / 2005
Members of ISSO Seva participated in a national community service event sponsored by South Asian American Leaders of Tomorrow (SAALT) called “Be the Change.” The event not only emphasized but also entailed volunteers to put into action the values set forth by Mahatma Gandhi and other leaders who have devoted their lives to public service and civil engagement in their communities.
- ISSO Seva lead proceedings included helping local Girl Scouts with activities, assisting Saheli (a non profit organization focused on helping South Asian women face domestic violence) create a curriculum for education against domestic violence, reading South Asian books to children at the local library, gather & raise monetary donations and canned goods for survivors of Hurricane Katrina, and assisting in raking and clearing up park areas. Other members assisted in painting and preserving park signs and restoring the walkways for pedestrians.
- Division of Youth and Family Services – Child Protective Services Aid – 2005
Many children who are removed from abusive home environments are brought to the Emergency Department (ER) for medical clearance and treatment as needed. The consistency that has been noted is they rarely come with personal belongings.
- Members of ISSO-Seva gathered numerous amounts of age-appropriate items, both for play and personal care. In New Jersey, 3 big boxes of toys were collected and donated to the children in the DYFS program.

| Charity Toy Drives for Children |
ISSO - Seva sponsors and organizes holiday charity events for the children throughout the world. Multiple Sponsors donate gifts to these precious children.
On Christmas Eve & New Years Eve, members of ISSO Seva gift out toys to make holiday seasons more enjoyable. |
- From barely being able to walk, to those toddlers full of energy, every child received a present and proudly walked back to boast about their newly acquired gift. With the help of local sponsors & members of ISSO-Seva, the deserving young children have been receiving their long anticipated presents.
