The Seva Health Clinic is an integral part,
the net under the safety net, of the health care delivery
system in the Lowell community. As it was formed to
do in 2006, the Clinic provides basic health care services
at no charge to people who cannot pay for care and to
those who do not have insurance available to them. The
Clinic provides comprehensive primary care services
to uninsured and underinsured adults. The conditions
most commonly treated are
Hypertension,
Diabetes,
Respiratory
Infections,
Sinusitis,
Sore
Throats
The Clinic
promotes health and wellness by providing quality
services at no charge in these areas:
General Wellness & Physicals
Chronic Disease Care/Acute Care
Internal Medicine
Women’s
Health
Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy
Ancillary Services
Cardiovascular Health
Coping & Risk Reduction Education
Diabetes Education
Testing/screening
services are provided for:
Blood Pressure
Cholesterol
Glucose
The Clinic
provides individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatry,
and medication management services for patients receiving
medical care or other support services at the Clinic
including:
Psychiatry
Individual, Group & Family Counseling
Case Management
Substance Abuse Counseling

Clinic. Because of tremendous volunteer support, the
Clinic has been able to make crucial differences in
the lives of our patients. The Seva Health Clinic
is a true definition of community mobilization and
